Starbucks Rewards uses personalized "Offers" to allow users to earn free items. ​​​​​​​"Offers" also habituate the purchasing process of its members. Working cross functionally with business insights we identified that a members’ lifetime value increases by 35% when they participate in their first personalized offer.
The Approach
Working cross functionally with product design, data science, and business insights, we developed an in app onboarding experience that is intuitive, educational, and drives new users to participate with personalized offers within the first 90 days of their new user onboarding.
